Sacred Heart, Redcar GCSE Results – August 2022

25th August 2022Dan Jackson

Executive headteacher, Michael Burns paid tribute to all members of the Sacred Heart family as the Class of 2022 achieved the best set of GCSE results in five years!

Sacred Heart pupils were all smiles after a fabulous set of GCSE results for the Class of 2022

We are absolutely thrilled with the grades our pupils achieved this summer!” said Sacred Heart executive headteacher, Michael Burns.

81% of pupils achieved a grade 4 or higher in English and Maths and 63% of pupils achieved a grade 5 or higher in English and Maths.

“The pupils have shown outstanding resilience, determination and focus during their time at Sacred Heart which should be commended given the disruption the pandemic has caused.

“A huge thank you to our staff who have worked incredibly hard to achieve these results, always going ‘above and beyond’ for the pupils in our care.

“Our parental support over these last two years especially, has been crucial to the pupils’ achievements, we are so grateful for the contribution they make to the success of the Sacred Heart family. Thank you all.

“We wish every single pupil the very best for the bright and successful future they have ahead of them.”

If any Year 11 pupils are interested in continuing their post-16 education within the Nicholas Postgate Catholic Academy Trust family, there are limited places available for September at Trinity Sixth Form. Students can email [email protected] and someone will contact them to discuss their options.
