Extra Curricular Activities

At Sacred Heart, we believe that education extends far beyond the classroom. We encourage all pupils to throw themselves into school life by taking part in the wide range of extra-curricular clubs and activities on offer throughout the year.

Getting involved in clubs provides pupils with valuable opportunities to develop new skills, discover hidden talents, build confidence, and make lasting friendships. Whether through sport, music, the arts, academic enrichment, leadership opportunities, or special interest groups, pupils can pursue their passions and explore new interests in a supportive and enjoyable environment.

Participation in extra-curricular activities also helps pupils develop important life skills such as teamwork, resilience, communication, responsibility, and time management. These experiences enrich their personal development and contribute positively to their overall wellbeing and sense of belonging within our school community.

As we continually respond to pupils’ interests and new opportunities, some clubs and activities may change throughout the year. To ensure that everyone is aware of the latest opportunities available, clubs will be regularly advertised during form time and through school communications. We encourage all pupils to look out for these updates and take every opportunity to become involved.

At Sacred Heart, we are proud of the vibrant community we have created and strongly believe that the more pupils engage with school life, the more rewarding and enjoyable their experience will be.

🌺 Remembrance Day – Calling All Creative Students! 🌺

At Sacred Heart, we believe it is important to honour those who have served, sacrificed and given their lives for others. ❤️

As we prepare for Remembrance Day, we would love our talented students to help us create a meaningful display that reflects the importance of remembrance, gratitude and peace. 🕊️

Whether you enjoy drawing, painting, photography or something a little different, this is your opportunity to use your creativity to share a powerful message.

We can't wait to see the wonderful ideas our students come up with and bring them together in a special tribute for our school community. 🌺

Lest We Forget. ❤️

🍂💛 HARVEST COLLECTION – THANK YOU! 💙🍂

WOW! What an incredible response to this year’s Harvest Collection! 🌟

A HUGE thank you to all our wonderful students, families and staff who have generously donated. Your kindness and generosity have been overwhelming, and we are so proud of our Sacred Heart community! 💙

A special shout-out to our fantastic Year 10 helpers, who worked so hard today sorting, packing and loading all the donations onto the bus. You were amazing! 👏🌟

This morning, our donations were delivered to Footprints in the Community, a wonderful local organisation dedicated to supporting people in need across our community. Their staff were absolutely delighted with the incredible contribution from Sacred Heart!

It is moments like these that truly demonstrate our Sacred Heart virtues of compassion, generosity and service to others, putting our faith into action. ❤️

Thank you once again to everyone who contributed. Together, we really can make a difference! 🍂🚜💛💙
