Remote Education

All schools have a duty to provide remote education for school age pupils whose attendance at school would be contrary to government guidance or law around coronavirus.

The remote education provided should be equivalent in length to the core teaching pupils would receive in school and can include both recorded or live direct teaching time and time for pupils to complete assigned tasks independently.

The amount of remote education provided should be, as a minimum:

KS3: 5 hours a day on average , with less for younger children

KS4: 5 hours a day

Please read the following information about our provision for remote learning:

Remote Education Audit

Parental Consent for Live Learning

It is very important that parents give consent for their  child to take part in live-streamed lessons, video calls and pre-recorded lessons.

Without consent your child will not be able to participate.

You can agree to consent for your child via the Parent App from Arbor.

The following document provides further information regarding Remote Learning and Online Education across all of our NPCAT schools:

Please click here to view our remote education policy located in the policies section

Across all of our NPCAT school pupils will access remote education via the Google Platform.

Please see the attached guides which will enable you to support your child when using  Google Classroom.

📢 GCSE Results Day – Important Collection Information

We’re looking forward to welcoming our Year 11 students tomorrow for GCSE Results Day! 💙

🕘 Students can arrive from 9:00am via the late door near the Sports Hall.

On arrival, students will find a letter addressed to them with two forms to complete. Once these have been handed in, students will receive a ticket to collect their results from the Main Hall.

If a student is unable to attend and would like a parent or friend to collect their results on their behalf, they must email Mr Stabler in advance. The person collecting must also bring a signed letter giving consent from the student.

Please make sure you follow the collection arrangements shown in the graphic.

💙 Good luck, Year 11! We are incredibly proud of you and can’t wait to celebrate your achievements.
