Thank you to everyone who responded with an application for a seat on the buses. We can confirm that we have enough interest to hold the price of an annual pass at £550 for the academic year 2017-18.
There are currently seats available on routes 33 and 34. If you would like a seat on one of these routes for your child please contact Mrs Sivewright, Academy Business Manager. The Academy has prepared a guidance book for parents and students using Academy Transport which is available to download below.
If you have not already done so, please complete the Code of Conduct agreement on page 10 and return it to the Academy.
Payment methods for passes are by cheque if paying the full amount, or by standing order in ten monthly instalments.
If you find that your child becomes eligible for free school meals and is a baptised Catholic using the Academy Transport, you should apply as soon as possible to the local authority for help. Parents must make the necessary application through Redcar and Cleveland Council. The application form is available to download here, more information about who may qualify can be found on the Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council website. Please note that these application forms must be returned to the Local Authority as soon as possible and not the Academy. We have been given an assurance that the Council are prepared to purchase places for students in receipt of free transport from the Academy, though this is a Council decision not ours.
