As a former Sacred Heart pupil, Matthew will always hold a special place in our school community. Today, our thoughts ...and prayers are especially with his family, friends, colleagues and all those who knew and loved him.
We remember Matthew not only for the service he gave, but for the person he was, the life he lived and the lasting impact he had on those around him.
As a school, we send our deepest condolences to Matthew’s family and hope they find strength and comfort in the love, support and memories being shared today.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon him.
May he rest in peace. Amen.

🎨 An Incredible Start to GCSE Art! ✏️
Year 10C have made a fantastic start to their GCSE Art journey! This week, students have been learning more about what the course involves before beginning their first observational drawings based on the theme of Natural Forms.
Using ...pencil, they have been developing their skills in tone, texture, shape and detail – and the quality of work already being produced is brilliant! 🌿🍒🐚

**📚 Year 11 – The Journey Ahead**
Yesterday morning, our Year 11 students took part in their first year group assembly of the new academic year, focusing on the journey that lies ahead.
Using the idea of making their way to the top of a mountain, students were reminded that ...Year 11 is a journey with a clear destination. There will be exciting moments and successes along the way, but there may also be difficult stretches where the climb feels tough.
The key message was that they do not have to make that journey alone. By getting equipped, taking the first step, following the right direction and asking for help when they need it, every student can keep moving forward towards their goals.
Year 11 is a big year, but with hard work, resilience, support and determination, we know our students can make it to the top. 💙
