**🍲Hospitality & Catering – A Fantastic Start!**
Our Year 10 Hospitality & Catering students have made an excellent start to the course. During their first week, students began by developing and demonstrating their knife and chopping skills, learning how to prepare ingredients... safely, accurately and efficiently.
They then put these skills into practice by creating their own fresh homemade soup, accompanied by a homemade bread roll. Across just two lessons, students demonstrated an impressive range of practical skills, from accurate vegetable preparation and safe knife handling to cooking, blending, bread making and presentation.
An excellent demonstration of skill, organisation and creativity – a fantastic start to Year 10 Hospitality & Catering!

🏅 Celebrating Mrs Winspear’s Fantastic Achievement! 🏅
We are incredibly proud of Mrs Winspear, who competed in the British Masters in Derby this weekend and came away with an outstanding set of results:
🥇 Gold in Javelin
🥉 Bronze in Shot Put
🥉 Bronze in ...the 100m
A brilliant achievement and a fantastic example of determination, commitment and hard work.
Mrs Winspear is a wonderful role model for our students, showing exactly what can be achieved when you set yourself a goal and give it your all.
Huge congratulations — we are all so proud of you! 👏💙
